So you want to make a Boff Weapon.  This is a Good Thing!  Since Maine Boffer Games will not be supplying any loaner weapons, you will need to bring your own, whether you made them or bought them.

As a general guideline, anything that is legal at NERO or MASI events will be legal at Maine Boffer Games.  This does include most laytex boff weapons, but they will be examined extra carefully at the tip.  A word of caution you may not wish to bring your best weapons to Maine Boff Games.  While we do emphasize this is a lightest touch game, this is our first year and I do foresee people getting excited and letting their swings fall out of check.

Update 7/11/11: Heya Boff Monkeys! I think we'll be cracking down on the cheese (no offense meant to Team Cheese ;) ) factor of some of the weapons and shields we've been seeing. What does this mean? Well primarily I don't want to see super whippy long weapons or shields the size of a car anymore. ;) I've been lienient in the past because we've just started making these things ourselves, but I think we're ready to sure up our construction skills. ^_^
